The week is almost over, so hang in there. Your highest priority for tonight is your rough draft, which needs to be at least one page. This is a good time to experiment, so feel free to take some risks. You’ll be work-shopping in class tomorrow, so there will be time to change directions if it doesn’t work. Remember the focuses I mentioned in class and make wise, informed choices.
Be sure to also read Zinsser Chapter 4 (taking note of new lessons) and to download and read Lee’s “Magical Dinners,” under the “Readings” tab. As you read the Lee, divide the essay into sections and label each. Be prepared to defend your decisions in class tomorrow.
